Rules for using Grit Board lawfully, securely, and responsibly — including the integrity rules that keep the games worth playing.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules for using Grit Board. It applies to customers, users, invited players, and anyone accessing the website or service.
Grit Board is built for lawful sales management and gamification. It must not be used to violate laws, rights, security, or workplace obligations.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. If it conflicts with the Terms about what use is allowed, this policy controls.
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the date at the top, and we will email customers if a change materially narrows what is allowed.
You may use Grit Board only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to your organization, your users, your sales representatives, and the data you upload or sync.
You must not upload, sync, or process personal data unless you have the legal right to do so. This includes responsibility for any privacy notices, consents, employment notices, workplace monitoring disclosures, and internal approvals required for sales-rep data.
You should not upload sensitive personal data unless it is lawful, necessary, and covered by appropriate notices and consents.
You may not use Grit Board to do any of the following.
The boards only mean something if the numbers are real. You may not do any of the following.
Grit Board produces boards, scores, ranks, and Grit Coin balances from the data and settings you give it. The output is a game score, not an assessment of a person. You must not use it as the sole basis for an employment, compensation, disciplinary, or termination decision. A human who understands the underlying work has to review any such decision, and you are responsible for the employment-law and compliance analysis that applies where your reps work.
Grit Board may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may suspend, limit, or terminate access where we believe use of the service creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk. We may also remove or restrict access to content or data that violates this policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law.
Where it is safe and practical, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it before we suspend or terminate. For serious cases — active abuse, a security threat, or a legal demand — we may act first and tell you afterward.
If we terminate a paid account for a reason other than your breach of these rules or the Terms, we will refund the unused portion of what you have already paid.
